Filing 18 MINUTE entry before the Honorable Young B. Kim: Parties are ordered to adhere to the following written discovery schedule: (1) exchange Rule 26(a)(1) disclosures by March 31, 2023; (2) serve written discovery requests by April 14, 2023 (requests to admit may be timely served before the end of fact discovery); (3) serve answers to written discovery requests by May 12, 2023; (4) confer about the adequacy of the discovery responses by May 26, 2023; and (5) file a joint status report identifying each side's written discovery issues (must identify the specific interrogatories and requests to produce), along with the relevant written discovery responses as exhibits, by June 2, 2023. The court will not consider general objections to written discovery requests if the court must address and rule on written discovery disputes. If the parties do not have any disputed written discovery issues, a status report is not required. Pursuant to Rule of Evidence 502(d), this court orders that inadvertent disclosures of attorney-client privileged and attorney work materials will not constitute a waiver of the associated privilege. The court further orders that upon written notification (including emails) from the opposing side that an inadvertent disclosure has occurred, the party shall return and/or destroy the materials at issue or file a motion for a determination on the claimed privilege within seven calendar days of the written notification. Filing 13 MINUTE entry before the Honorable Martha M. Pacold: Attorney Tamara Holder filed an appearance on behalf of plaintiff Adrienne Harmon-Beckwith (the filing is titled on CM/ECF as a motion for leave to appear as lead counsel for plaintiff, but the filing itself is an appearance). #11 . Ms. Holder may enter an appearance on behalf of plaintiff generally, but to the extent Ms. Holder seeks to appear as lead counsel should this case proceed to trial, upon review of the court's roster of general and trial bar members, Ms. Holder is a member of the court's general bar but not the trial bar. Pursuant to Local Rule 83.12(a), "[a]ttorneys admitted to the general bar, but not to the trial bar, may appear in association with a member of the trial bar in all matters but may not appear as the lead attorney at trial." The rule will preclude plaintiff's counsel from acting as lead trial counsel in this case unless she becomes a member of the trial bar, see Local Rule 83.11, or if the rule is waived under Local Rule 83.12(d). If plaintiff's counsel believes she has been admitted to the court's trial bar, she may contact Attorney Admissions by calling (312) 435-5771 or emailing via https://www.ilnd.uscourts.gov/SendMail.aspx?oEibHc7rjHlmecE39QxWUg==.
