May 31, 2023 Opinion or Order Filing 10 ORDER: The Court grants Plaintiff's renewed applications for leave to proceed in forma pauperis #7 #9 . The Court orders the trust fund officer at Plaintiff's place of incarceration to deduct $39.75 from Plaintiff's account for payment to the Clerk of Court as an initial partial payment of the filing fee and to continue making monthly deductions in accordance with this order. The Court directs the Clerk of Court to send a copy of this order to the trust fund officer at Plaintiff's current place of incarceration and to this Court's fiscal department. The Court dismisses Plaintiff's amended complaint, as well as this case in its entirety, for the reasons discussed below. Plaintiff's claims under 42 U.S.C. 1983 are dismissed with prejudice for failure to state a claim on which relief may be granted. Any state-law claims are dismissed without prejudice to Plaintiff's ability to seek redress in state court. Nothing in this order shall be construed as reaching the merits of any state-law claims.
