Filing 4 ORDER : Robert Barker, presently a detainee at the Cook County Jail, initiated this action pro se. Although Plaintiff submitted his complaint, he did not submit an application to proceed in forma pauperis that complies with the statutory requirements for prisoners, see 28 U.S.C. 1915(a)(2), nor did he pay the filing fee. If Plaintiff wants to proceed further, he has until July 21, 2023, to either (1) submit a completed application to proceed in forma pauperis on the enclosed form along with a certified copy of his trust fund account statement showing all transactions to his account for the six-month period immediately preceding his initiation of this action; or (2) pre-pay the $402.00 filing fee. Failure to comply with this order by this date will result in summary dismissal of this case. The Court defers initial review of Plaintiff's complaint #1 until his fee status is resolved.
