ORDER: Plaintiff's application (Dkt. 3) for leave to proceed in forma pauperis (IFP) is denied because Plaintiff has failed to establish that he is financially eligible for IFP status. Plaintiff must pay the $402 filing fee if he wishes to proceed further with this case. Plaintiff may pay by check or money order payable to Clerk, United States District Court. Plaintiff should mail payment to Clerk, United States District Court, 219 South Dearborn Street, Chicago, Illinois 60604, attn: Cashier's Desk. Separately, Plaintiff must show cause why this case should not be dismissed for inaccurate representations concerning his finances. Failure to fully comply with this order on or before September 1, 2023 will result in the summary dismissal of this lawsuit. The Court defers initial review of Plaintiff's complaint under 28 U.S.C. 1915A and his motion for attorney representation (Dkt. 4) until after he has resolved the threshold issues identified in this order.
