Filing 28 MINUTE entry before the Honorable M. David Weisman: Magistrate Status hearing held. Defense counsel for WebBank and Fingerhut did not appear. Plaintiff reported that she has tentatively settled her claims against Experian, WebBank, and Fingerhut. Plaintiff is in communication with defendant Resurgent Capital Services L.P.'s counsel as to possible settlement. Defense counsel for Equifax indicated that he would contact Plaintiff this week to discuss possible settlement. Plaintiff has received no communications from TransUnion; no appearance for TransUnion is currently on record. Plaintiff also reported that she resolved a separate state lawsuit against certain defendants who are not a part of this federal case. Based on this posture (namely, the quick resolutions Plaintiff has achieved with certain defendants, and the mutual desire for quick resolution by other defendants), the Court continued the status hearing until 9/28/23 at 9:45 a.m. Parties agree with this approach. Joint status report to be filed by 9/26/23, addressing: the status of resolution between Plaintiff and each respective Defendant. The Court may strike the status hearing based on the content of the status report. The Court thanks Plaintiff and defense counsel for their cooperation in attempting to resolve this matter. Parties may appear in person or by telephone by using the Court's conference call- in number. The conference call-in number is 1-877- 411-9748, and the passcode is 1814539. Members of the public and media who wish to listen to this hearing may call in. Persons granted remote access to proceedings are reminded of the general prohibition against photographing, recording, and rebroadcasting of court proceedings. Violation of these prohibitions may result in sanctions, including removal of court issued media credentials, restricted entry to future hearings, denial of entry to future hearings, or any other sanctions deemed necessary by the Court.
