MINUTE entry before the Honorable Jorge L. Alonso: Based on the parties' joint initial status report, the Court sets the following deadlines in accordance with Fed. R. Civ. P. 16(b)(3): Defendants served their initial disclosures on 8/8/2023; Plaintiffs shall serve their initial disclosures by 9/14/2023; any amended pleadings shall be filed by 11/13/2023; any motions to join other parties shall be filed by 11/13/2023; fact discovery shall be complete by 5/23/2024; and dispositive motions to be filed by 7/22/2024. Any motion to join and/or motion to amend pleadings after the above date will need to meet the good cause requirements of Fed. R. Civ. P. 16. This case is referred to the Magistrate Judge for supervision of discovery and settlement, should the parties wish to schedule a settlement conference. The Magistrate Judge has authority to extend any deadlines contained in this order. The status hearing set for 8/29/23 is stricken.
