Filing 6 ORDER: Although the Clerk's Office is not obligated to track down litigants, the Court is aware that Plaintiff Maurice Barnes was recently released from custody due to his pro se appearance filed in Barnes v. Cermak Med. Servs., Case No. 23-cv-2796 (N.D. Ill.). Thus, in this single instance, the Court directs the Clerk to update Plaintiff's address on the docket to 6755 South Justine Street, Chicago, Illinois 60636. Plaintiff must update his address promptly if it changes again while this case is open. If he does not do so, this case will be subject to dismissal with no further warning. Because Plaintiff is no longer in custody, his application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis (IFP) #3 is denied without prejudice. Plaintiff must either: (1) submit properly-supported IFP applications for incarcerated and non-incarcerated persons since he must provide current financial information as well as financial information from when he was detained at the Cook County Jail; or (2) prepay the full $402 filing fee. If Plaintiff does not comply by September 29, 2023, the Court may summarily dismiss this case. The Court denies Plaintiff's request for attorney representation #4 without prejudice as he has not attempted to obtain counsel himself, see Pickett v. Chi. Transit Auth., 930 F.3d 869, 871 (7th Cir. 2019) (citing Pruitt v. Mote, 503 F.3d 647, 654 (7th Cir. 2007) (en banc)); in any event, nothing suggests that counsel is warranted at this stage of the litigation. The Court directs the Clerk to send Plaintiff a copy of this order and IFP forms for incarcerated and non-incarcerated persons. Signed by the Honorable Nancy L. Maldonado on 8/15/2023.
