| Filing 22 MINUTE entry before the Honorable Jeffrey Cole: Judge Chang has referred the case here for discovery supervision (including the authority to adjust all deadlines). #20 and #21 . Per the Initial Joint Status Report dated 9/21/23 [Dkt#19 ], the parties were not able to agree on a proposed discovery schedule except for the dates for initial disclosures and first written discovery requests. Accordingly, the Court will set the discovery schedule, which is as follows: Date for Rule 26(a)(1) disclosures: 11/9/23; Date to issue first-set of written discovery requests: 1/12/24; Fact discovery completion date: 10/22/24; Plaintiff expert reports due 11/22/24; Plaintiff expert depositions completed by 12/20/24.; Defendants expert reports due 1/20/25; Defendants expert depositions completed by 2/20/25;Date for filing of dispositive motions: 3/28/25 (subject to District Court approval). Counsel are reminded of Local Rule 16.1, which provides that discovery must be completed not merely scheduled within the time set for discovery. A video status conference is set for 12/21/23 at 9:30am. Instructions will be emailed to counsel. Members of the public and media will be able to call in to listen to this hearing.
