MAILED a copy of order dated 8/30/2023 and a blank application to proceed IFP to Plaintiff (jg, ) |
Filing 3 ORDER: Plaintiff Patrick Adair, a frequent litigator in this Court, initiated this new pro se civil rights lawsuit on August 1, 2023, by filing a complaint. However, Plaintiff did not address his fee status. If Plaintiff wishes to proceed further with this lawsuit, he must resolve his fee status by either: (1) pre-paying the $402 statutory filing fee; or, (2) submitting an application to proceed in forma pauperis (IFP). The Court notes that any IFP application that Plaintiff submits to the Court in connection with this case must include information about how he is currently supporting himself (since the docket reflects that he is no longer incarcerated). If Plaintiff fails to comply with this order by September 27, 2023, the case will be summarily dismissed. The Clerk is directed to send Plaintiff a blank application to proceed IFP and a copy of this order. Plaintiff is advised that he has a continuing obligation to keep the Court apprised of his current address, and failure to do so will result in dismissal of this suit for failure to comply with a Court order and for want of prosecution. Signed by the Honorable John J. Tharp, Jr on 8/30/2023. Mailed notice. (jg, ) |
