The Court denies Plaintiff's request to pay only a $10,000 bond. Consistent with this Court's practice in cases like this one, the Court requires $1,000 bond per defendant. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 65(c); Gateway E. Ry. Co. v. Terminal R.R. Ass'n of St. Louis, 35 F.3d 1134, 1141 (7th Cir. 1994) (explaining that the amount of the bond is within the court's discretion). In addition, it does not appear that Plaintiff has addressed this Court's prior concern about Plaintiff proceeding anonymously. "No-name litigation is disfavored in general, and particularly in this Circuit." XYZ Corp. v. Partnerships & Unincorporated Associations Identified on Schedule A, No. 21-CV-06471, 2022 WL 180151, at *1 (N.D. Ill. Jan. 20, 2022). Plaintiff must explain how this case fits in the narrow category that "overcome[s] the presumption that parties' identities are public information." Roe v. Dettelbach, 59 F.4th 255, 259 (7th Cir. 2023). On or before 9/29/23, Plaintiff should file amended motion and memorandum in support in compliance with this order, and submit an accompanying proposed order to the Court's proposed order box.
