February 6, 2024 Opinion or Order Filing 10 ORDER Plaintiff David Elliott filed a pro se complaint against his former employer, the Chicago Transit Authority ("CTA"), alleging employment discrimination under the American with Disabilities Act ("ADA"), 42 U.S.C. 12101, et seq. Elliott also filed motions for leave to proceed in forma pauperis ("IFP") and for attorney representation. For the reasons set forth in the accompanying Statement, Elliott's complaint is dismissed without prejudice and with leave to file an amended complaint by 3/5/24. His motion for leave to proceed IFP #9 is denied as moot, and his motion for attorney representation #8 is denied without prejudice. If Elliott fails to submit his proposed amended complaint in compliance with this order, this case may be dismissed on the understanding that he is no longer interested in pursuing this case.
