Filing 7 ORDER: This case has been assigned to the calendar of Judge LaShonda A. Hunt. Plaintiff's application to proceed in forma pauperis #5 is granted. Having reviewed the application, the Court finds that requiring Plaintiff to pay the filing fee for this case would likely interfere with the necessities of life. See Bryant v. Whalen, No. 88cv4834, 1992 WL 198946, 5 (N.D. Ill. Aug. 12, 1992). The parties are ordered to file a joint status report by 7/24/24, stating whether they consent to the Magistrate Judge's jurisdiction over this matter. If the parties do consent to exercise of jurisdiction by the assigned Magistrate Judge, they can also file a fully executed consent form, Notice and Consent to Exercise of Jurisdiction, by 7/24/24. Pursuant to the Supplemental Rules for Social Security Actions in the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Defendant shall answer or otherwise plead to Plaintiff's complaint on or before 9/9/24, and deliver a courtesy copy to Room 1428. Pursuant to Local Rule 8.1(b), the Social Security Administration's filing of the certified administrative record, in and of itself, shall suffice as the agency's answer to the complaint. Plaintiff's opening brief is due on or before 10/9/24. Defendant's response brief is due on or before 11/8/24. Plaintiff's reply, if any, is due on or before 11/22/24. Plaintiff's application to proceed in forma pauperis #1 is superseded by #5 and thus terminated as moot. Mailed notice. (jj, ) |
