July 28, 2025 Filing 37 DEFAULT FINAL JUDGMENT ORDER Signed by the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt on 7/28/2025. Mailed notice (gel,)
July 28, 2025 Filing 36 MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: Defendant has not responded to Plaintiffs' motion for entry of default judgment. Accordingly, the motion #30 is granted. Based on the evidence previously submitted by Plaintiffs and the admission of liability by virtue of the default, Plaintiffs have established that a permanent injunction should be entered. The infringement of Plaintiffs' marks irreparably harms Plaintiffs and confuses the public. Because this infringement was willful and considering the value of Plaintiffs' brand as well as the need to deter infringement that is easily committed and difficult to stop, the Court concludes that $20,000 is an appropriate award of statutory damages against Defendant. Enter Final Judgment Order. Civil case terminated. Mailed notice (gel,)

April 1, 2025 Filing 14 MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: This case has been assigned to the calendar of Judge LaShonda A. Hunt. Plaintiffs commenced this action on 3/12/25 by filing a Complaint #1 and provisionally sealed Schedule A #3 listing 50 Defendants, along with a motion to seal #12 and other filings. To date, Plaintiffs have neither noticed the motion to seal for presentment as required by the Court's case management procedures nor sought entry of a temporary restraining order, which is the reason Plaintiffs provided for needing to keep Defendants' identities under seal. Accordingly, the motion to seal #12 is denied, and the Clerk of Court is directed, forthwith, to unseal Schedule A #3 . In addition, after reviewing the Complaint #1 and other filings, the Court questions whether Plaintiffs have established sufficient grounds for joinder of all Defendants. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 20(a)(2); Viking Arm AS v. Partnerships & Unincorporated Associations Identified on Schedule A, No. 24 C 1566, 2024 WL 2953105 (N.D. Ill. June 6, 2024). By 4/14/25, Plaintiffs must either (a) file a supplemental memorandum that refers to specific facts alleged in its filings and provides citations to specific screenshots associated with each Schedule A Defendant to demonstrate that joinder is proper; or (b) file an amended schedule A with a subset of Defendants, along with a declaration that explains how each of these Defendants is properly joined with each other and includes labeled exhibits that contain screenshots or other information specific to Defendants listed on amended Schedule A only.
