The parties advise that they have engaged in substantive settlement communications, including the exchange of demands and counteroffers. Defendants indicate that they believe a settlement conference would be beneficial and they request that discovery be stayed pending the settlement conference. However, Plaintiff indicates that he does not believe a settlement conference would be beneficial at this time and does not agree to stay discovery pending a settlement conference. Given that not all parties are interested in participating in a settlement conference at this time, the Court will not conduct a settlement conference at this juncture and will not stay discovery.
