The Court interprets the stipulated judgment as a motion for court approval of the parties' FLSA settlement agreement. See Walton v. United Consumers Club, Inc., 786 F.2d 303, 306 (7th Cir. 1986) (citing Lynn Food Stores, Inc. v. United States, 679 F.2d 1350, 1355 (11th Cir. 1982) (finding that a district court must determine "that a settlement proposed by an employer and employees, in a suit brought by the employees under the FLSA, is a fair and reasonable resolution of a bona fide dispute over FLSA provisions")). The Clerk is directed to file the stipulated judgement and settlement agreement as a separately docketed entry and designate it as a motion for court approval of settlement. The motion for court approval #7 is set for presentment on 7/15/2019 at 10:00 AM. Plaintiff and defense counsel shall appear in person in courtroom 3200 of the Stanley J. Roszkowski United States Courthouse, 327 South Church Street, Rockford, Illinois 61101. By 7/8/2019, the parties shall support their motion with facts sufficient for the Court to determine that the settlement "represents a fair and reasonable resolution of a bona fide dispute."
