ORDER : Plaintiff indicated in a letter dated May 3, 2021 #4 , that he intended to prepay the filing fee. The Court subsequently received $400.00 from Plaintiff, but effective December 1, 2020, the fee increased to $402.00. A review of the Court's records also reveals that Plaintiff owes $135.86 in outstanding filing fees in this district as follows: $133.41 in Knight v. Lyke, No. 01 C 5515 (N.D. Ill.); and $2.45 in Knight v. Lyke, No. 01-3510 (7th Cir.) (appeal of case no. 01 C 5515). Plaintiff therefore owes a total of $137.86. Plaintiff, who indicates that he has $1,900.00 in his prison trust funds account #5 , must pay his outstanding fees or show good cause in writing why he should be allowed to litigate in this Court while his fees remains unpaid. He should do so by June 30, 2021. He may pay by check or money order payable to Clerk, United States District Court. He should mail payment to Clerk, United States District Court, 219 South Dearborn Street, Chicago, Illinois 60604, attn: Cashier's Desk. The Court defers initial review of Plaintiff's complaint under 28 U.S.C. 1915A and motion for attorney representation until after his fee issues have been resolved. The Court, however, grants Plaintiff's motion for an extension of time to file an application to proceed in forma pauperis in support of his motion for attorney representation #5 . If Plaintiff does not submit a properly completed and supported application by the date set forth above, the Court will deny, without prejudice to renewal, his motion for attorney representation.
