Filing 8 ORDER : The Court takes Plaintiff's renewed application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis #7 under consideration. If Plaintiff wants to proceed further, he must (1) explain in writing and under oath why, he believes, he should be allowed to proceed in forma pauperis, and (2) submit a certified trust fund statement showing activity in his account from February 15, 2022, to the date he responds to this order. Alternatively, he may pay the Court's $402.00 filing fee. Payment may be made by check or money order payable to Clerk, United States District Court. Failure to fully comply with this order by April 8, 2022, will result in summary dismissal of this case. The Court defers review of Plaintiff's complaint under 28 U.S.C. 1915A and ruling on his motions for attorney representation until after his fee status has been resolved. Filing 5 ORDER; The Court denies Plaintiff's application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis #4 without prejudice to renewal. If Plaintiff wants to proceed further, he must either (1) pay the full statutory filing fee of $402.00 or (2) submit a properly completed application to proceed in forma pauperis that has been certified by an authorized jail official and that is accompanied by a copy of Plaintiff's trust fund statement showing all transactions in his account for the six-month period immediately before he initiated this lawsuit (from July 31, 2021, to January 31, 2022). Failure to fully comply with this order by March 11, 2022, will result in summary dismissal of this case. The Court defers consideration of Plaintiff's complaint and his motion for attorney representation until after his fee status has been resolved. To the extent DeKalb County Jail officials require a court order to provide an account statement or to certify Plaintiff's application, it is so ordered. Plaintiff,however, remains responsible for paying any fees associated with obtaining a copy of his account statement or having his application certified. Nothing in this order shall be construed as requiring the jail to provide copies (or any other service) to Plaintiff for free.
