Filing 9 ORDER; Plaintiff's in forma pauperis application #3 is entered and continued. He must provide trust fund ledgers from any facility where he was in custody for the full year prior to initiating this lawsuit (in other words, beginning on May 15, 2021, and ending on the date of compliance). Plaintiff must also show cause (in other words, provide a written explanation) why this case should not be dismissed based on his representations regarding his finances. If Plaintiff does not comply with both directives by July 18, 2022, this case will be summarily dismissed. In addition, an audit of Plaintiff's past cases shows that he has outstanding fees in Hughes v. Dart, No. 18 C 3063 (N.D. Ill.), and Hughes v. Pineda, No. 19 C 4915 (N.D. Ill.). His trust fund ledgers, while out-of-date, do not reflect ongoing deductions for these cases from eligible income. The trust fund officer should update Plaintiff's records to include these cases and commence monthly deductions, as specified in this order, until the fees are paid in full. The Clerk is directed to send a copy of this order to Plaintiff and the trust fund officer at Plaintiff's place of incarceration. See the attached order for details. Signed by the Honorable Iain D. Johnston on 6/15/2022: Mailed notice (yxp, ) |
