ORDER, This Court's prior order directed Petitioner Nathaniel Rodriguez, by July 29, 2022, to both satisfy the $5.00 filing fee for this case and show cause why this case should not be dismissed for failing to state a valid 28 U.S.C. 2241 claim. Although Petitioner has not responded to these directives, his two letters to the Court and motion for attorney representation allege that he has been confined in USP Thomson's Special Management Unit and has limited access to the prison library. The Court construes Petitioner's letters [4, 6]1 as a request for more time to comply, which is granted. Petitioner is given until September 2, 2022, to comply with the Court's June 16, 2022 order. Petitioner's motion requesting the recruitment of an attorney #5 is denied without prejudice. At present, this case requires neither an evidentiary hearing nor actions that appear to be beyond Petitioner's abilities. See Rule 8(c) of the Rules Governing 28 U.S.C. 2254 Cases. Petitioner may again request counsel at a later stage of this case. For now, Petitioner should resolve the $5.00 filing fee and submit a written response to the Court's June 16, 2022 order stating why he should be granted habeas corpus relief.
