ORDER Petitioner William Abbott, a federal prisoner at USP Thomson, brings this 28 U.S.C. 2241 petition challenging the Bureau of Prisons' (BOP) calculation of his sentence under the First Step Act. Petitioner, however, has neither paid the $5.00 filing fee, nor submitted an in forma pauperis (IFP) application demonstrating his inability to pay it. By September 28, 2023, Petitioner must satisfy the filing fee requirement, either by paying the $5.00 fee or by submitting a completed IFP application with a completed certificate section by an authorized officer and a copy of his prison trust account statement for the past six months. Petitioner's failure to comply will result in summary dismissal of this case without prejudice. See N.D. Ill. Local Rule 3.3(f). The Clerk of Court shall send an IFP application to Petitioner.
