ORDER: Plaintiff's motion for reconsideration #8 is denied. The January 12, 2024 order #7 remains intact. If plaintiff wants to proceed further with this lawsuit, he must pay the $405 filing fee by no later than March 15, 2024. Failure to do so by the aforementioned date will result in summary dismissal of this case. Plaintiff's motion for service of process at government expense #5 and his motion for writ of habeas corpus #6 are denied as unnecessary; this case is still in its early stages and plaintiff has yet to resolve his fee status. Plaintiff's motion for attorney representation #4 is denied without prejudice. See Pickett v. Chicago Transit Auth., 930 F.3d 869, 871 (7th Cir. 2019) (observing that a motion for attorney representation may be filed "so early in the case that it [i]s impossible to tell whether [the plaintiff] could represent himself adequately"). By February 20, 2024, plaintiff must pay the full statutory filing fee of $405.00. If he fails to comply with this order by the aforementioned date, the court will summarily dismiss this case. Plaintiff is advised that he has a continuing obligation to keep the court apprised of his current address, and failure to do so will result in dismissal of this action for failure to comply with a court order and for want of prosecution.
