November 18, 2024 Opinion or Order Filing 5 ORDER: Plaintiff Steven Shempert, a prisoner at the Shawnee Correctional Center, has filed this action under 42 U.S.C. 1983 alleging that he was subjected to an unconstitutional disciplinary procedure while he was at the Dixon Correctional Center. His application to proceed in forma pauperis #4 is denied. His applications shows that he has a balance of $5,533.13 in his prison trust fund account and an average monthly income of $1,106.83. Dkt. 4 at 2-4. The Court concludes that he can afford to prepay the full $405 filing fee. He must do so by December 9, 2024, or this suit may be summarily dismissed.
