ORDER OF REMAND: The motion for remand of this case to state court brought by Plaintiff Robert Gragg (Doc. 16) is denied. The Court's independent investigation of the existence of federal subject matter jurisdiction in this case leads the Court to conclude that subject matter jurisdiction pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1442 does not exist in this case; pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1447(c), this case is remanded to the Circuit Court of the Third Judicial Circuit, Madison County, Illinois, for lack of federal subject matter jurisdiction.
