June 21, 2016 Opinion or Order Filing 4 ORDER: This matter is before the Court sua sponte for the purpose of docket control. On June 16, 2016, Defendant Campbell Hausfeld, LLC removed case number 15-L-65 from the Circuit Court of St. Clair County, Illinois to the Southern District of Illinois. Court records show that a co-Defendant, Graco, Inc., removed the same case one day earlier (case number 16-cv-653-NJR-SCW). The Court believes the two actions are duplicative of one another. "As a general rule, a federal suit may be dismissed for reasons of wise judicial administration whenever it is duplicative of a parallel action already pending in [federal court]." Serlin v. (citation omitted). Consequently, this case will be dismissed on June 28, 2016, unless Defendant Campbell Hausfeld notifies the Court in writing why dismissal is not appropriate. Signed by Judge Nancy J. Rosenstengel on 6/21/16. (klh2) THIS TEXT ENTRY IS AN ORDER OF THE COURT. NO FURTHER DOCUMENTATION WILL BE MAILED.
