Filing 228 ORDER granting in part and denying in part 192 Motion for Summary Judgment; granting in part and denying in part 197 Motion for Summary Judgment. Summary judgment is granted as to all claims against the defendants in their official capacity for m onetary damages. Furthermore, summary judgment is granted in Count I on the issue of whether Defendant Shah provided Plaintiff with appropriate medical care regarding his hypertension. Finally, summary judgment is granted on Counts III and IV of Plai ntiffs complaint. Because Plaintiff has voluntarily dropped his claim against Defendant Blades, the Court also DIRECTS the Clerk of the Court to dismiss Defendant Blades from all counts. It is further ORDERED that, for the reasons stated above, and in accordance with 28 U.S.C. § 1915(e)(1) and Local Rule(s) 83.1(i) and 83.9(b), attorney Joel S. Fe ldman of Sidley, Austin et al., located at One South Dearborn, Chicago, Illinois, 60603, is ASSIGNED to represent Plaintiff in this civil rights case. On or before July 28, 2017, assigned counsel shall enter his appearance in this case. The Clerk of Court is DIRECTED to transmit this Order, a copy of the docket sheet, and Doc. 23 to attorney Joel S. Feldman. Now that counsel has been assigned, Plaintiff shall not personally file anything in this case, except a pleading that asks that he be allow ed to have counsel withdraw from representation. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Plaintiff, by and through counsel, has leave to file a Second Amended Complaint on or before September 28, 2017. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that all pending motions filed by Plaintiff pro se are DENIED without prejudice so that assigned counsel can evaluate how to proceed.
