November 1, 2019 Opinion or Order Filing 5 JURISDICTIONAL ORDER: In light of Seventh Circuit admonitions, see, e.g. America's Best Inns, Inc. v. Best Inns of Abilene, L.P., 980 F.2d 1072 (1992), the Court has undertaken an initial review of the pleadings to ensure that jurisdiction has been properly pleaded. Defendants Auto-Owners Insurance Company and Auto-Owners Insurance Group invoke jurisdiction pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1332, the diversity statute. Defendants made unclear jurisdictional allegations regarding Plaintiff, stating she is either a citizen of the State of Illinois or the State of Missouri. (See Doc. 1, p. 3). Defendants' allegations regarding Plaintiff should specifically identify the citizenship of Plaintiff at the time of the filing of the notice of removal. See Gossmeyer v.
