Filing 2 ORDER: The Court, sua sponte, remands this action to the Circuit Court of Johnson County, Illinois. Plaintiff filed this action in the Circuit Court of Johnson County and filed a Notice of Removal of the action to this Court (Doc. #1 ). A plaintiff is not permitted to remove his own action from state to federal court. See 28 USC 1441(a); Lawrence v. Sec'y of State, 467 F. App'x 523, 525 (7th Cir. 2012). A defect in the removal procedure requires remand of an action to state court. 28 U.S.C. 1447(c).
