ORDER: On August 12, 2020, Plaintiff filed the instant action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 1983 and through counsel. Although his claims arose during his incarceration, threshold review pursuant to 1915A(a)-(b) is unnecessary because Plaintiff was not a prisoner on the date he filed the action, as that term is defined by 28 U.S.C. 1915A(c). Because Plaintiff has paid his full filing fee, preliminary review under 28 U.S.C. 1915(e)(2) is also unnecessary. Plaintiff's counsel shall be responsible for effecting service of process in this case. Within 14 days of all Defendants entering their appearance, the parties shall submit a joint proposed scheduling order to the Court. Signed by Judge Staci M. Yandle on 8/14/2020.
