Filing 7 ORDER: Petitioner, Mark Alan Lane, has filed a pro se Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus to correct his sentence under 28 U.S.C. 2241. Without commenting on the merits of Petitioner's claims, the Court concludes that the petition survives preliminary review under Rule 4. Consequently, the Government is DIRECTED to file a response to the petition within THIRTY (30) days of this Order, or March 11, 2022. The Government shall, as part of its response, attach all relevant portions of the record. After the Government files its response, Petitioner will have THIRTY (30) days, or until April 11, 2022, to file a reply. If review of the briefs indicates that an evidentiary hearing is warranted, the Court will immediately set the hearing by separate notice.
