Filing 25 ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE. This matter comes before the Court for case management purposes. Plaintiff filed this case in the Northern District of Illinois on June 10, 2022. There is no evidence in the record that service of process has been effected upon any of the defendants despite the Northern District judge's extending the service deadline to December 16, 2022. This matter has since been transferred to this district pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1406(a), and the Court revisits the service question. The Court hereby ORDERS the plaintiff to SHOW CAUSE on or before January 13, 2023, why this case should not be dismissed without prejudice for failure to timely effect service. Failure to respond in a timely manner to this order will result in dismissal of claims against all unserved defendants pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 4(m).
