ORDER regarding the Motion for an Extension of Time to File a Responsive Pleading (Doc. 16) of Defendants Pickett and Cushman. Those Defendants request until April 28, 2023, to file a pleading in response to Plaintiff's Complaint (Doc. 1). They indicate additional time is necessary to investigate the facts relating to Plaintiff's Complaint. On February 15, 2023, the Court granted the same request for other Defendants, namely, the Village of Central City, Gary Hall, Ken Buchanan, and Chuck Mattmiller. (Docs. 12 & 13). Another individual Defendant has not yet appeared in this case. Accordingly, for good cause show, the Court GRANTS the Motion and EXTENDS the time for Defendants Pickett and Cushman to file a responsive pleading to April 28, 2023. See McCann v. Cullinan, No. 11-50125, 2015 WL 4254226, *10 (N.D. Ill. July 14, 2015) ("[U]nder Rule 6(b)(1), as interpreted by case law, the term 'good cause' imposes a light burden."). Signed by Judge David W.
