ORDER GRANTING #13 Motion to Stay. The Commissioner has filed the instant motion requesting a stay of all deadlines due to the ongoing government shutdown (Doc. 13). Due to the lapse in Government funding, that request is GRANTED and this case is hereby STAYED until funding is restored to the Department of Justice and the Social Security Administration. The Commissioner is INSTRUCTED to file an appropriate notice with the Court once funding has been restored so the Court may lift the stay and extend all deadlines proportionately. ORDER GRANTING #3 Motion for Leave to Proceed in forma pauperis. A federal court is authorized under 28 U.S.C. sec. 1915(a)(1) to permit an indigent party to proceed in a civil action without prepaying the filing fee if the party "submits an affidavit that includes a statement of all assets [she] possesses [showing] that [she] is unable to pay such fees or give security therefor." After reviewing Plaintiff's motion and affidavit (Doc. 3), the Court is satisfied that Plaintiff is unable to pay the filing fee. Therefore, the Court GRANTS the Motion for Leave to Proceed in forma pauperis (Doc. 3). The Court notes, however, that should it become apparent that the action is frivolous or malicious at any time in the future, it may dismiss the case pursuant to 28 U.S.C. sec. 1915(e)(2)(B)(i).
