Filing 20 ORDER regarding #19 Response to Order to Show Cause. The Magistrate Judge previously ordered Plaintiff to show cause why Plaintiff's claims against Defendants Experian Information Solutions, Inc. and Equifax Information Services, LLC should not be dismissed for failure to serve pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(m). In Plaintiff's #19 response, Plaintiff requests the Court grant him a 60-day extension of time to serve Defendants. The Court does not find good cause for the wholesale extension that Plaintiff seeks, but does find good cause for a brief extension of the deadline to serve Defendants. In its discretion, the Court will grant Plaintiff a permissive extension of time to serve Defendants Experian Information Solutions, Inc. and Equifax Information Services, LLC to up to and including June 5, 2023. As such, the Court will not recommend dismissal at this time, but warns Plaintiff that failure to timely and properly serve Defendants within the permitted extension may result in the Magistrate Judge recommending dismissal of the remaining Defendants in this case.
