ORDER denying #3 Unopposed Motion to Substitute Party Pseudonym "Sniper One" to "Officer John Doe Joplin PD." To the extent Plaintiffs want to substitute "Officer John Doe Joplin PD" for "Sniper One," Plaintiffs may amend their complaint as a matter of course pursuant to Rule 15(a)(1). Plaintiffs' motion does not provide any authority or cite to any rule that a motion to substitute is the proper mechanism by which to substitute one pseudonym for another. But to the extent Plaintiffs know the identity of Sniper One, Plaintiffs are reminded of their obligation, pursuant to Rules 10(a) and 17, to name real parties in interest. If Sniper One is seeking to proceed under a pseudonym, he or she must petition the Court to do. See, e.g., GEICO Gen. Ins. Co. v. M.O., No. 21-2164-DDC-ADM, 2021 WL 4476783, at *4-10 (D. Kan.
