ORDER granting in part #16 Defendant Rosa Belle Roquet's Motion for Extension and Continuance. Plaintiff Jackson National Life Insurance Company and Defendant David Kenworthy Roquet are unopposed to the request, but pro se Defendant Kathryn K. White is opposed to the Motion. For the reasons articulated in the Motion, the Courts finds good cause for short extensions of the deadlines in the #15 Initial Order Regarding Planning and Scheduling. The Court grants this motion without briefing because of the time-sensitive nature of the request and because the Court has the inherent power to "control its docket for the purpose of economy of time and effort for itself, for counsel, and for litigants." Baca v. Berry, 806 F.3d 1262, 1269-70 (10th Cir. 2015) (quotation omitted). On or before October 24, 2023, the parties must confer as required by Rule 26(f). On or before November 3, 2023, the parties must serve their Rule 26(a)(1)(A) initial disclosures, and email copies of the initial disclosures to the Magistrate Judge's chambers. On or before November 3, 2023, Plaintiff must submit a redline and a clean version of the proposed scheduling order in Word format to the Magistrate Judge's chambers. The scheduling conference is reset for November 14, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., by phone (CONFERENCE LINE 1-888-363-4749; ACCESS CODE 5705809). The parties are strongly encouraged to utilize early discovery, pursuant to Rule 26(d)(2), and to begin all discovery immediately after the Rule 26(f) conference. Signed by Magistrate Judge Rachel E.
