ORDER granting Plaintiff's motion to continue, Doc. #6 , and to show cause. None of the defendants have entered their appearance and briefing on the pending motion for preliminary injunction, Doc. #4 , has been stayed. Doc. 5. A status conference was set to determine the exigency of Plaintiff's request for a preliminary injunction and to determine a schedule for resolution of the pending motion. Doc. 5. Plaintiff, however, has now moved to continue that hearing until an unspecified date in the future. Doc. #6 . Given that the Complaint seeks injunctive relief, Doc. 1 at pp. 69-69, and there appears no urgency to resolve Plaintiff's motion for preliminary injunction before a trial on the merits, Plaintiff is ordered to show cause by January 10, 2024 why the motion for preliminary injunction cannot be denied without prejudice until the parties are prepared to present their case to a jury.
