MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER Signed by Magistrate Judge Colin H. Lindsay on 9/13/2016: The parties shall engage in a brief period of discovery related solely to the Gannett benefits website. All such discovery shall be completed no later than 12/9 /2016; Defendant's motion for protective order 99 is GRANTED IN PART; All discovery not expressly permitted by the instant memorandum opinion and order is hereby STAYED pending further ruling of this Court. The motion for protective order is DENIED IN PART, insofar as it seeks a ruling that Defendants need not respond to Mastersons written discovery requests pending a ruling as to the applicability of ERISA in this action; Masterson's motion to strike 108 is DENIED; Masters on's motion to compel 114 is DENIED WITHOUT PREJUDICE; The Court's STANDING ORDER requiring ALL parties to contact the Court to request a telephonic conference before filing a discovery-related motion REMAINS IN EFFECT.
