ORDER ADOPTING PARTIAL REPORT AND RECOMMENDATIONS 15 . IT IS ORDERED that Plaintiff Ronji Jenkins's § 1983 claims against the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center, Sheriff Newell Normand, Deputy B. Bonvillian, Deputy Mendozer, and Captai n Carter be DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE as frivolous and otherwise for failure to state a claim for which relief can be granted under 28 U.S.C. § 1915, § 1915A, and 42 U.S.C. § 1997e. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Jenkins's § 1983 claims of excessive force against Deputy Sergeant Glass and Sergeant Harris proceed and remain referred to the United States Magistrate Judge for further pretrial proceedings.
