ORDER: On July 12, 2023, defendant, Stewart O'Neal, filed a Notice of Removal, seemingly asserting that this Court has subject matter jurisdiction over Plaintiff's car accident claims based upon 28 U.S.C. 1332, diversity jurisdiction. While O'Neal has adequately alleged his own citizenship, the citizenship of the plaintiff, John D. Sileo, and the citizenship of defendant, State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, and has sufficiently alleged the amount in controversy, O'Neal has failed to sufficiently allege the citizenship of defendant, Houston Specialty Insurance Company. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that all of the parties shall have seven (7) days from the date of this Order to file their respective disclosure statements pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 7.1(a)(2). IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that defendant, Stewart O'Neal, shall have seven (7) days to file a comprehensive amended notice of removal, without further leave of Court, properly setting forth the citizenship particulars of all of the parties and alleging sufficient facts to show the amount in controversy was satisfied at the time of removal, as required to establish that the Court has diversity jurisdiction over this case under 28 U.S.C. 1332(a). IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that a telephone status conference will be held in this matter on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. Dial in information will be emailed to all counsel of record prior to the status conference.
