OPINION and RULING: The court finds that the plaintiff does not have a personal right of action for disability discrimination under LSA-R.S.22:1097, nor could she establish such a claim if she did. For this reason, judgment will be entered in favor of defendant Unum Life Insurance Company of America and against plaintiff Rhonda H. Morrison, dismissing the plaintiffs claim with prejudice..
