ORDER granting #11 Joint Motion to Continue Jurisdictional Briefing Deadlines with Incorporated Memorandum in Support. Although jurisdictional discovery regarding amount in controversy is generally disfavored because a removing defendant is supposed to develop the facts that support removal before removing the case to federal court, because discovery responses are due the same day as the removing defendants' memorandum, and because the extension sought is only a week, there is good cause to grant the motion in this case. No further extensions of time to comply with the Court's #9 Order will be granted. Removing Defendants shall file a memorandum and supporting evidence concerning whether the amount in controversy requirement of 28 U.S.C. 1332 is met, due by 9/28/2020. Plaintiff shall file either: (1) a Notice stating that Plaintiff does not dispute that Removing Defendants established the jurisdictional requirements of 28 U.S.C. 1332, or (2) a Motion to Remand, due by 10/8/2020.
