ELECTRONIC ORDER re #11 Motion for Extension of Time to File Response to #8 MOTION to Remand. Defendants Motion for Extension [doc. 11] suggests that federal enclave jurisdiction may apply. Defendants' request for additional time was based on the uniqueness of that issue, conflicting briefing deadlines, and holiday travel plans. Plaintiffs objected and were ordered to file a formal response. Plaintiffs' response was that there exists no diversity of citizenship, and that an extension of time would allow Defendants additional time to gather the necessary information that the plaintiffs allege is lacking. The court does not perceive in this opposition a good faith reason to deny the extension. The parties are reminded of the obligation to provide a good faith reason for failing to consent to a reasonable request for extension of time. La. Loc. Civ. R. 7.4.1. Defendants request for a 14-day extension of time to respond to Plaintiffs Motion to Remand (Doc. 8) is GRANTED.
