ELECTRONIC ORDER granting #9 Motion for Leave to File Diversity Disclosure Statement. Review of that statement, however, shows that plaintiff did not adequately allege the citizenship of Castmat Transport LLC, for purposes of diversity jurisdiction under 28 U.S.C. 1332. For diversity purposes, a limited liability companys citizenship is determined by the citizenship of all of its members, with its state of incorporation and principal place of business being irrelevant. Harvey v. Grey Wolf Drilling Co., 542 F.3d 1077 (5th Cir. 2008). Instead of listing the citizenship of all its members, plaintiff listed the LLC's state of incorporation and principal place of business. On or before 8/18/2023, plaintiff must amend the Diversity Disclosure Statement to properly allege the citizenship of all members of Castmat Transport, LLC.
