The Court finds that nothing in Townsend makes punitive damages available to the plaintiffs in these consolidated lawsuits or abrogates the jurisprudential authority holding that punitive damages ar e not available to these plaintiffs. Therefore, the Court finds that, to the extent the plaintiffs in these consolidated actions seek to recover punitive damages, they have failed to present a plausible claim for relief.
