MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Judge Gloria M. Navarro on 9/8/2020. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Plaintiff Shana Lee McCart-Pollak ("Plaintiff") show cause as to why the Court should not dismiss this action for failure to satisfy the diversity jurisdiction requirements set forth in 28 U.S.C. 1332. Specifically, Plaintiff must demonstrate that the Defendants are completely diverse from Plaintiff. Here, Plaintiff alleges that she is a citizen of Nevada. (Compl. 3:3-4, ECF No. #1 ). Plaintiff also alleges that Defendant Tony Abbatangelo is a citizen of Nevada. (Compl. 3:24-26). Plaintiff shall have until October 8, 2020, to file a brief, not to exceed ten pages, demonstrating that this Court has subject matter jurisdiction over this action. Failure to comply with this Order will result in this case being dismissed without prejudice. (Copies have been distributed pursuant to the NEF - KB)
