MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Judge Gloria M. Navarro on 3/8/2022. ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE. Pursuant to this Court's 5 Notice, Counsel David W. Tufts and Landon Laycock (collectively, "Plaintiff's Counsel") were given until February 21, 2022, to file their respective Petitions to Practice Pro Hac Vice. On February 22, 2022, Plaintiff's Counsel filed a #8 Notice informing the Court that they would promptly file Verified Petitions to Practice Pro Hac Vice. (See Notice 1:23-26, ECF No. #8 ). Though Mr. Tufts has filed his #9 Verified Petition, the Court has yet to receive a petition from Mr. Laycock. Fourteen (14) days from the original deadline have now passed. Local Rule IA 11-2(h) states, "Failure to comply timely with this rule may result in the striking of any and all documents previously filed by the attorney, the imposition of other sanctions, or both."Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Mr. Laycock file a Response by March 18, 2022, explaining why sanctions should not be imposed. Submitting a completed Verified Petition to Practice Pro Hac Vice will satisfy this Show Cause Order. Failure to comply may result in Mr. Laycock's inability to appear in this case.(Copies have been distributed pursuant to the NEF - EH)
