| Filing 6 MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Magistrate Judge Brenda Weksler on 6/7/2022. IT IS ORDERED that Plaintiff's motion at ECF No. #5 is DENIED. The Court does not find good cause to grant the extension Plaintiff seeks. The Court is doubtful that Plaintiff's state case can be resolved (including any motions to reconsider, appeals, etc.) in Plaintiff's favor in 45 days. Rather, it appears from Plaintiff's motion that this federal case is premature, as a favorable decision on the merits in this case may be inconsistent with the state court's ruling in Plaintiff's criminal case. That said, Plaintiff may be able to file a new federal case once his state case is resolved. (no image attached) (Copies have been distributed pursuant to the NEF - RA) |
