May 2, 2024 Filing 9 MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Magistrate Judge Maximiliano D. Couvillier, III on 5/2/2024. On March 15, 2024, plaintiff filed an IFP application (ECF No. 1). The Court denied plaintiffs IFP (ECF No. 3). The Court also noted that plaintiff failed to file a complaint with his IFP. The Court ordered plaintiff to file a new IFP and his Complaint by April 19, 2024. Plaintiff has filed a new IFP but failed to file a Complaint. The Court will defer addressing the IFP until plaintiff files a Complaint. Plaintiff is reminded that even though he is proceeding pro se, he must still follow Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 8(a)(2) and draft a complaint that shows: (1) the legal claims he brings against the defendant; (2) the relief sought; and (3) the facts supporting those claims that the requested relief. Accordingly, It is ordered that plaintiff must file a Complaint within two-weeks from the date of this Order. Failure to timely comply with this Order may result in a recommendation that this case be dismissed. (Copies have been distributed pursuant to the NEF - LCHH)
