ORDER SCREENING COMPLAINT AND DENYING MOTIONS - It is therefore ordered that a decision on the application to proceed in forma pauperis (ECF No. #1 ) is deferred. It is further ordered that the First Amendment retaliation claim is dismissed without prejudice and with leave to amend as detailed herein. It is further ordered that Defendants Washoe County Sheriffs Office, Medical Staff, and Nurse Daria are dismissed from the Complaint without prejudice. It is further ordered that the motions for various relief (ECF Nos. #4 , #5 , #6 , #7 ) are denied. Amended Complaint deadline: 10/13/2022. It is further ordered that if Davis fails to file an amended complaint curing the deficiencies outlined in this order, this action will be subject to dismissal without prejudice for failure to state a claim, The Clerk of the Court is directed to send Davis the approved form for filing a 1983 complaint, instructions for the same, and a copy of his original complaint (ECF No. #1 -1).
