December 20, 2012 Opinion or Order Filing 82 MEMORANDUM AND OPINION, In sum, the findings of fact and conclusions of law discussed at some length above drive me to conclude that the medical malpractice of the defendant which, in some respects can be aptly characterized as egregious, proximately caused the pain and suffering endured by Warren Jupiter from June 23, 2003 to December 6, 2005, and for which compensation in the sum of 5 million dollars is awarded to Barbara Jupiter, as Executrix of his estate. For the loss of the assistance, gui dance and nurture they suffer by the death of their father proximately caused by the medical malpractice of the defendant, Sara, Hannah and Joshua Warren are awarded the sum of $900,000 to be divided equally among them.
